Howdy, new to the forum but need advice. Wanting to put drag bars on the Nightster, but need to know what all is involved?? Please toss me some advice...
well you need to figure out what size risers you want, alot of people go with the 6" riser and bars off a night train, i didnt have to get any longer cables or anything for mine you will have to extend the speedo wires
I put 6" risers + drag bars on my nightster and it just misses the tank. I love them. I putdrag barson in about 30 min. without help. I wish I had bought a service manual before I did it becauseit would have goneeasier. I also had to replace my left grip... it tore as I tried to remove it using a silicone and flat bar. Bike looks tuff.

Pics?? I want drag bars on my Nightster, but I'm having trouble visualizing where the grips will end up. I know I want the grips lower and more forward, are they lower with the 6 inch risers? I was thinking shorter risers, but obviously they need to clear the tank... how much more forward/lower are they?
