‘09 883 Stalling Issue

Hey everyone,
Picked up an ‘09 883 for the wife around a month ago. She’s been riding it around with no problems until today. She started the bike and attempted to ride it and the bike stalled out. Restarted it, attempted again and the bike stalled on her. I got on the bike, and if I let the clutch out slowly it’ll start to roll forward but as soon as I start to give it throttle it dies out. If you really rip the throttle open and let the clutch out it’ll hop forward and die out. Did a little more troubleshooting, and noticed that if I put the bike in 1st gear and hold the clutch completely in the bike will act like it’s bogging down and almost stall out before the rpms will come back up to normal.

It’s late at night and the bike has drag pipes on it, so I didn’t do much more troubleshooting for fear of pissing off the neighbors. I’m gonna keep trying to do more troubleshooting tomorrow but if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate all the help I can get.

Stalling

I have an 04 883 custom that did the same thing. The previous owner didn't tell me the carb was rejetted. I went back to stock jets and it runs great now.
