Because of the English winter I have always ridden my bikes 6 months on and 6 months off . I have had a variety of big cc Suzuki's such as the GSX ( GS ) 1100 and GSXR 1100 . Every April the first ride was absolute agony on the left wrist after about 60 miles . Because I never learn , I would usually be 60 miles from home when this happened which meant another 60 miles of searing pain . After a few days to recover I would go out again and discover that I could go much further before the pains started up . After a few weeks I would be able to go greater and greater distances until the clutch operation was no longer an issue . So to get to the point , maybe if you persevere you will just get used to it .

I also suffer from age-related wrist problems. Why suffer, get the Clutchlite piece spend about 45 minutes installing it and get a noticeable lever pull effort reduction.

Did the Clutchlite easy pull today. It is much easier but maybe not 40%. Enough to tell the difference for sure. Pretty easy install too.

Depending on year of bike and state of cable changing it for a newer teflon/plastic lined one or making sure it is clean end to end is another way to get lighter pressure. I lubed mine with tri flow as it is synthetic and not petroleum based.
