Default eazy-pull clutch

Is there such a thing available, and what does it take to install? Thank you!

Two products that do essentially the same job; Muller Power Clutch and Cluthlite.

They are not difficult to install.

You did not indicate what year you are working with. If its 10years or more, most
likely one of the new teflon lined cables will reduce the pull effort...

Here's a picture of the Muller vs stock.

hope this helps,

T.

As well as the longer lever I think it also has a change in the length of bearing ramps.

The Clutchlite is just a longer bearing ramp so is in essence half the product the Muller is.

I installed AIM Variable Pressure Clutch (VPC) which has weights that use centrifugal force to increase clutch pressure as engine speed increases. It definitely reduced level pull and works pretty well. Not too difficult to install, either. I did not have to remove the primary cover to do it.

Looking again at the picture above of the HD part it looks like the mould has gone to hell but no-one can be bothered to make a new one. Look at the quality of the Muller product it sure puts the HD part to shame.

Picture looks like "original vs cheapocopy"... but vice versa

Does that mean you do like it or don't recommend it?

If you have the money the Muller ought to make the clutch easier to pull. If you want to try something for less then get the Clutchlite.

The casting of both products is superior to the MoCos.

I recommend either as they both work.

My bike came with a Muller already installed . Works fine even with a 15% stronger spring but I've nothing to compare it to . One thing , with a Muller you only need to back off the adjuster 1/8 of a turn instead of 1/4 .
