I got this 2006 sportster 1200. Dont know much about it anyone know what it is? It's pretty fast compared to my softail. Anyone know the name of the color?
Isn't the color black cherry? It was a color that was available that year. As far as being faster than your softail??? Throw some money at the sportster and it can go fast for sure. If it runs good enjoy it and figure it out later if something happens to it.
Take it your local chop shop & give them $5k to bore it out to 100ci. Man you'll be doing 155mph IN FIRST GEAR smoking Dodge Hellcats like cheap cigars. Screw the warranty and having any compression in 6months. SPEED - SPEED - SPEED. That's why we ride HDs. to fly like we're winning the Isle of Man.. on a 600lb cruiser!

Hahaha. Thats awesome. Im gonna catch smoke for this. But I ride the metric 4 bangers for speed and handling. The Harley just makes me feel like Im in SOA because Im really a huge wiener. Lol. However. Im ALWAYS impressed by a fast Harley at the track and thats for real. You know they put some work into a Harley running sub 12s.
Not as rough as dropping $5k into a $25k 110ci cruiser and STILL getting smoked by a $1,500 250cc junk jap bike so bad you look like you didn't even have it in gear. Ha ha ha ha
