Ignition switch issues

Ignition switch issues
I need some advise on a problem I'm having with my bike, it keeps shutting down on me as I ride. I think I've narrowed it down to the ignition switch. But maybe there's something else? I had someone "help" me by putting in a new switch, I mistakenly trusted he'd do it right but now I'm not sure, can anyone tell me where the wires should go on a 6 pin switch?
