Hi everyone,
I tried to remove the foot peg on the clutch of my Harley iron 883 with a hammer. I bang on the bolt and I saw 2 tiny metal ***** came off that look like the one in the picture from the link below. The size is about sand. I lost one of them. I regret using the hammer now. I didn't think it could make something comes off like this. Any idea of what it is or where it comes from?
. I looked it up on the Ronnie fish. It's possible it came out of the folding foot peg. Mine have a wave washer. Yours may have the ball. Does it just flop now?
Also could have came out of a tool like the end of a extension, ratchet, T handle. Is that what you were using to tap with?

"Foot peg on the clutch"?
Does your bike have a foot clutch or is the foot peg somewhere near the area of the clutch? Your statement is a bit confusing.
My WAG is the OP is merely talking about the foot peg, most likely the left side where the shift lever resides. If the foot peg is on the clutch a bb size ball is the least of the problem.
