My D&D 2 into 1 dramatically improved my lower rpm driveability and increased power over the V&H I had. I gave the V&H away.

So I am not familar with alot of 'dyno recording' standards, but I'm just wondering why
cant the WinPEP s/w do an integration (calculus integral?) of what most
would consider 'street' rpm range of the given dyno graph? For example,
an 'average hp/torque' value for the rpm range of 2500-5500rpm ?
The top hp/torque figures are always quoted, but never the 'average'
over a given rpm range...

I know 'the racers' are only concerned about 5000+ rpm performance
and thats fine, but for most of 'us' street types, the aforementioned
'average' would probably give us a better idea of real street / butt-dyno
performance of a given exhuaust system.

Thoughts ?

T.

Yup. Bobcat. Another benefit is the deeper sound. Not so harsh on the ears.

I recently put my bike back to stock intake and mufflers but with a V&H tune. It is as if the engine is fighting itself where I could sit the engine revs and it still produce produce pulling power. I now feel the engine doesn't smooth out until 3300 and I feel a definite power improvement higher than that. The engine also doesn't pull like it did from below 3000.

This could of course be down to the V&H tune.

The Khrome Werks tapered 3" mufflers with noise reduction kit and SE filter with corresponding V&H tune definitely gives better low rpm pulling power.
