Nice looking ride! Glad the Avons are working out for you. The 160s fills out the rear nicely.
Thank you for the compliment! I am very happy with the Avons. I spent an hour riding today and grinned the whole time. ( probably do that anyway) but the ride was fun and cornering was excellent.
I did verify the speedo error too. Turns out my slightly worn Scorchers were spot on. So the slightly larger rear ended up with an error of about 2mph at 70mph with the reading being lower than actual.
Not to hijack an old thread, but does anyone have current recommendations for this issue? I've searched and it seems the Avon's are not available that I can find. The wife's 17 is about due for tires and I'm not feeling going back with the Scorchers. They really haven't impressed, especially for the price. Thanks.

Found a lot of mistakes in the overall tire width figures, but none in the as tested rim widths (4.5) etc. My only gripe with Bridgestone tires is sometimes they have fit the rim a little tight. Better than too lose though!
