07 Sporty Wont maintain steady throttle jerky

I sprayed around the intake with WD-40 dry lube because i couldnt find carb clean and it seemed like the idle went up when i did but im not sure. Also exhaust ports felt like there was no air coming out. Checked the air filter and it was a little dirty. Wonder if it has ever been changed. Looks like the stock one. Bike has 5500 miles on it.

I ended up changing the champion plugs that where in there with NGK iridiums and it seemed to make a world of s difference, no more bucking and popping. All i have to do now is change the air filter out because it is somewhat dirty and it is the OEM filter. However the champions that i took out where very white on the porcelain, which seems to me a lean condition. I check 02 sensor voltage readings thru FP3 and they where all in spec. Mind boggled
