throttle lag on a 07 RKC

Default throttle lag on a 07 RKC
I just purchased this buy a few days ago, but this morning out for a morning drive and i noticed that there was considerable throttle lag when i started from a stopped position. It felt like the injector wasnt opening. anyone has this problem. Bike is all stock.
