SPRINGER
Will a Harley Davidson springer front end { not sure what year it is } fit a 2000 Sportster? What do I need to check to see if it will fit?[sm=thanx.gif]

Yes, it will fit. Need to change the bearing cups, may need to fabricate fork stops, not sure. There is a whole list of things to look at when doing a swap like that. It would be easier to get a springer that is made for a sportster. There are a few places that have them, I just can't remember who they are. My brain stops working when I get home. Maybe someone here will know. Hope this helps.
