Today I tore apart a 2013 883 Iron and found something really odd. The throttle body has what appears to be a MAF or MAP sensor in it. According to the manual, there should be nothing here, but it's there so is this an aftermarket or what's going on? The intake manifold also has a TMAP sensor where it should be. I am a bit confused as the wire loom has a plug for it, any help would be appreciated. Circled part is in question. Manual doesn't show it.
I found out it's an IAT sensor (intake air temp) but I'm not sure why it is there, I have never seen one on the throttle body, only on the air breather.
