Talked to the chrome consultant at the dealer. And what im goona be doing instead of buying a night train, just getting the 6inch risers, and flat drag bars, prolly the skull handgrips. Then forward controls.
Im def. goona be putting the forwards on myself.
Im debating about doing the bars myself. Any words of wisdom from those who have done it? Any precations about the switch housings? thnanks
It is not that hard. Just take your time. The main thing is to just pay attention to where everything is coming off from, that way you know right where to put it back. Just make sure that when you do your front brake side, be sure to take you a little piece of cardboard and pull your brake lever in and put the cardboard between the brake lever and it's housing. That way when you bolt everything together you can pull the paper out and you want break the little brakelight switch that sticks out of your switch housing.
WTF is up with this "chrome consultant"? This is the second time that I have heard this term used in a week....Yes, I know what it is, but can't believe that HD owner's need a chrome decorator to help them stick crap on their bike.
