are you changing the switch housings to chrome as well? (I hope so, it would look a little off if not).

The biggest trouble with switch housings is getting the switches into the new housings. Pay REAL close attention to how they go in, and be REAL careful when going back in. Expect to have some troubles, just don't loose you cool. It would be a good idea to do the removal and installation at the same time so you don't forget (I had a couple weeks between remove and install, so I was screwed).

The brake lever has a little plunger in there, follow the the service manual procedures to make sure you don't **** that switch. I fooked the switch even when following the procedures, fortuneatly they are only a $12 replacement part (give or take a couple bucks)

it seems a LOT of people have trouble getting their front brake primed and working correctly after doing this mod (indcluding myself). I pumped the crap out of that lever... emptied it, checked for any blocked, refilled it... pumped the crap out of it, pumped some more... anf finally I started getting fluid into the line.
Do yourself a favor, get one of those nifty vacuum brake bleeder thingys. I used on on my rear brake and it was well worth the $30 bucks... I even re-bled my fronts after getting it. Its one of those tools you won't use a lot, but will appreciate having when you do use it.

Other than that, its a pretty simple job.

If you're talking about just the levers themselves, very easy to do. Do yourself a favor and pick up extra external snap rings to use on the pins which the new levers pivot. Both mine stretched when I removed them. They were only 1.98 each at the dealer. Also, have a good quality pair of snap ring pliers with heavy duty small tips.

Remove old snap rings, remove pins, levers come right out of brackets.

Like mentioned in the previous post, be careful when installing the new brake lever not to screw up the brake light switch.
