I bought all the tin from a 2008 1200 Anniversary edition. I am wanting to sell the fenders, seat and tank which are in almost perfect shape. Looks like they were taken off the bike when new. The parts came with a backrest luggage rack but I can't id it. It seems to be HD but how can I be sure what it fits? The rack is 9 inches wide 5 bars. The mount is 11 1/4 inches wide quick mount. This looks like very nice HD stuff, very heavy good chrome. Can anyone help ID this stuff?
That is Harley brand stuff meant for a 2004+ Sportster, my own 08 bike had the same setup when I bought it used 5 years ago...though FWIW I made my own larger rack to work with the QD plates. A picture from the day I bought it...
You have there the detachable side plates that will require the docking hardware to be fitted to the bike. HD also made side plates that bolted on between the frame and fender.
Ya true, but they had the rubber washer with a slot so that I could kinda pop the windshield in place and than a way to lock it down like I see on this unit. Looks like I may be missing some rubber pieces around the openings. thanks man
