Just in case and only as a suggestion, be sure to make your next new post over in the new member welcome area.
You referring to the pin that is in the old pads? Aftermarket may just be glued backing plate. What does the online fish show you think is missing?

Here is the link to the Harley Davidson Parts listing for your motorcycle, go to it and it will give you the proper name for the part you are looking for. Your Dealer should be able to get the parts for you, or go aftermarket once you have the proper nomenclature:
Think 12 is a anti rattle spring wire. Those end clips do the same thing. However, not 100% certain. The pads align into the radius of item 1 when you brake. Lot of times, there is fwd and aft shake. Those clips and spring wire stop rattle.
On a car, it also stops a click when you back up and brake from pads slideing back and hitting other side of 1.
