Maybe if I wanted to climb a mountain or something but it's supposed to be a street bike.

I barely even touch my throttle and I'm gone with 1200 gearing. No matter how soft I try to leave the back tire chirps all the time. Why would I want that weak *** gearing that's intended for a mini bike?

It honestly doesnt matter, its a tractor engine. Fast tractor or slow tractor? Still a tractor. That air cooled push rod v twin engine hits a rev limiter about when when any 4 banger sport bike begins its power band. It wont win any races without lots of $$$$$$$. These sportsters are fun fat burnout machines but I hope no one thinks they are fast, not by modern standards.

Always make mumbling about throwing rods, 2 strokes and 4:11 car gears.
Gearing is simply a choice of preference for the rider. Thats it!
But, this comment about melting the back tire and how you win races shows just how little you know about Sportster drag racing. Because everyone here knows youve never backed your bike into the water box let alone street raced someone.
Keep up the 883 rants, I love watching boomers dig themselves deeper haha
