2001 Sportster 883 Misfire and Stalling

I wonder if it could be starving for gas when this happens? Mine used to fall on its face after a lagging throttle as when approaching a stop sign. I had the intake manifold seals replaced and the accelerator pump checked, which took care most of the problem, although it still may happen occasionally, when the engine is fully warmed up. I also like the idea of checking the battery cables and connections.

Are you running a fuel filter? My bike had a fuel filter on it when I bought it and it caused me a lot of headaches before I realized I didn't even need the thing.

Easy enough to check as there is only one spot to put it.
When my tank was not venting properly it would die once I got on the fwy as the vent wasn't letting in enough air. So maybe check your bike is venting properly.
