Default 16-20 Sportster 48 owners.. Help

I would like to ask for a couple pics of the fork sliders where the axel mounts and the wheel spacer position (both sides)
I’m in the process of doing my 2nd 49mm fork conversion on another XL1200c.
1st time around I bought a 48 front end and wheels. Everything went together as it should.

This time around, I’ve only been able to find a 48 triple tree, so I picked up some 49mm Street Bob, single caliper forks and unknown Softail model 16 x 3 wheels. The axel, wheel and forks do not work together.. I’m assuming it’s the 48 triple tree.. (?) ( not wide enough for axel/wheel)?
I’m thinking I Need a wide glide or Street Bob triple tree, to get things to align properly..
In the meantime, if I can get a few pics of the sliders, axel, wheel & spacers, ‘I’m wondering if there’s that much of a difference between Street Bob lowers and 48 lowers..? Maybe it’s as simple as swapping sliders..?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Wheel won’t center, and no room for supplied wheel spacers

Right side of hub touches slider

Not too long ago just out of curiosity I compared the tube center distance measurement between my 22 48, my 06 street bob and 49mm dyna wideglide.

wide glide - 11.803" wrong! Edit: 9.874"
48 - 8.879
street bob - 8.496

Is it possible the softail hub is wider meant to be used with wideglide forks?

if by “center to center” you mean the inner fork legs where the wheel spacers rest, I have 7-3/8”. So either the fork sliders are completely different AND/or the wheel is completely wrong for my conversion.
Thank you for the measurements, I really appreciate it!

I should have been more clear. I was referring to the tube center distance in the trees.

The street bob hub appears narrower than your softail hub

Thank you “snatchcat”, I appreciate the pics. I’ve come to the realization that I simply bought the wrong items. The only thing I’ve got going for me at this point is the sportster 48 triple tree.
I think my next move is to get Sportster 48 Fork sliders, and a 48 front wheel. All these parts were readily available on eBay and here in the marketplace a few years back. Now I’m lucky to have found the triple tree, but that’s as far as my luck has taken me.

It's hard to say without actually seeing everything but if it's centered and I thought I could get away with it I'd be tempted to just grind an angle on the wheel hub

Is there any possibility that hub is a softail rear hub? I'm no expert and certainly no softail guru but something seems off to me?
