New guy here with a question. I have a 73 xlch and was curious if anybody new what the factory colors where on these. Mine is maroon with gold pinstripe and Harley Davidson in cursive on top of the tank.

If you call HD they will tell you what colors were offered that year. They did it for me a couple years back. They weren’t able to look up my 70s Sportster by vin, so they can’t tell ya what color the bike originally was, unfortunately.
Thanks for all the responses. From what I've found I think black blue band white were the original colors, but it was the 70's! I will try and get a picture of the tank on here today.
