Default 2008 Sportster 883 fuse box cover

Good day all!

Been trying to search on the web and also through multiple forums and could not come up with an answer to my dilemma. I am working on a family members 2008 Sportster 883 and I have run into the what appears to be common corroded fuse box. The bike came to me with no cover directly over the fuses. I am wondering if someone can confirm whether they're actually is a small cover over the fuse box for this model? I've tried purchasing what I thought were the correct covers on the web only to find out that they are slightly too large and do not fit. Wanting to seal this off so it doesn't happen again as I have already cleaned up the area from the corrosion and want to send this bike back out on the road. If someone could please confirm with maybe a picture and possibly even a part number off of the cover on your bike, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much in advance!

I have a 2008 with just the normal side cover. There is no special little cover that I can see that covers the fuses and relays as an addition.

The fuse holder on this bike hasn't corroded. The fuse pins go black because I suspect they are silver of some sort and not tin.

I don't know what others have done to promote corrosion or where it is forming specifically.

Knock-off left side cover:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226202430...F166R3PWKX4MX2

It does not appear to have a cover over the fuses except for the left side cover accordind to the owners manual.

Tell the owner to keep water away from that area. Are they using alot of water when cleaning the bike?

THanks For your reply! Can you tell me if the fuse box sticks out just below the left side of the side cover?

Problem is, once the cover is in position, I could see the bottom of the fuse box sticking out from below the cover. If you get caught in rain, the fuse box is bound to get wet!

The 2008 has been out in quite a few rain events, some quite heavy, one lasted for 300 miles.

The bottom left corner is exposed but it hasn't suffered.

Just a thin smear of dielectric grease on each pin before inserting cleaned fuses.
