On second thought, I believe they likely do have a separate battery, in case a thief thinks disconnecting the battery will kill the alarm. So, maybe removing the Maxi fuse won't disable it? He may have to contact the dealer to see how to remove it, if possible. You wouldn't need much of a backup battery to sound a simple alarm.

I would think you could call the dealer. Would like to think something in the manual. I don't know how robust the security is. Second battery or just make noise until you disconnect the battery?
Wiring diagram would probably help too.
My2015, all you need to do is pull the maxi fuse and lights stop flashing. But it really isn;t much of secruity system, just need the fob to start.
Siren is optional, OP may not have it. But yes, if the siren is present then it will make noise, it has a Li battery built in. Unplugging and removing the siren is possible, it is not an integral part of security system.
