What year is it Skatz? Keep in mind, the speedometer, ECM and and voltage together draw as much as the alarm system with key off.
However a good battery in trailer mode should be fine for a couple months. If I stored it longer then that, I would pull battery. My 04 Softail will. And new stuff draws 1/3 of what mine draws.
Even if you had a maintenance charger on it, I have never trusted a charger left on for months. Probably because what I have sèen when a battery goes bad.

In trailer mode it won't activate, but it still drains. Security cannot be deactivated. The ECU is paired with security module, your engine will not run if you remove or replace the security module.
Does it have another battery that will activate a siren?
On second thought, I believe they likely do have a separate battery, in case a thief thinks disconnecting the battery will kill the alarm. So, maybe removing the Maxi fuse won't disable it? He may have to contact the dealer to see how to remove it, if possible. You wouldn't need much of a backup battery to sound a simple alarm.
