Default Relocated ignition switch

Blacked out handlebars (powder coated the bars satin black and bought the mirrors, levers and grips from Harley) with internal wiring, relocated turn signals, relocated ignition and laydown license plate. Fabbed the license plate frame and the ignition bracket. No wires were cut, but I notched out the ignition housing to hold the existing wires in place. I'm thinking about powder coating the triple-trees next.

Have you thought about powder coating the risers and triple clamps? That would really look sweat with those bars!

Can you tell us what's the advantage of putting the ignition switch beside the seat? Looks good

The key doesn't come close to my leg, even when riding with my heels out over the pegs or when hooking my heels on the passenger pegs (I'm 6' tall). I did have to take off the security fob key ring.
I considered powder coating the risers, but I think introducing some more black with the triple-trees and having polished lower legs and chrome risers would do the trick. The turn signals will be moved again using clamps on the upper tubes just below the lower tree. Maybe a black 41/2" headlight, too.
I put the switch there because I don't like leaning forward and fumbling with the key putting it into the switch. I find it much more convenient located behind the tank.

Edit: Sorry about the giant pictures. I'll make 'em smaller in the future.

No apology necessary here for the giant pictures. I like being able see things that big. Often we get pics here that are maybe 2x the size of the thumbnails and virtually useless for viewing.
