CO2 or brick rechargeable pump?

I carry a Fanttik X8 in my bags. I bought a lock on converter hose & store it in the case. I use it all the time on my bike & truck. Easier to deal with then the big pancake compressor & I can carry it out my trailers & top them up too. This and a tire plug kit should keep me going unless the tire is trashed. Its a little big but I have the room in my bags. Its also a light and a power bank to charge my phone up if I need it. I bought that one too. What I like is the screw on hose end. The one with the clamp end is more difficult to operate and results in lost tire pressure when you take it out; you really have to unclip it and yank it out at the same time... of course, you'd only care if you're stickler like me

Another factor with CO2 is that rubber is more permeable to it than air so tires lose pressure quicker, something I learned in the bicycle world....though that might not matter in a limp home situation.
