Hey all, anyone running the stirrup heelrest with forward controls? Thinking about getting a pair but not sure about how comfortable it would be with the forwards, can you angle the heelresta bit downso it's not flat?Any gripes while using them, or do they add a bit more comfort which is what I am looking for. Thanks in advance.
Thanks Charlie, that's exactly what I was looking for. Just wanted to make sure they could be adjusted. I had this weird vision that my feet were going be at an akward parrallel to the ground angle and that it wasn't going to serve the purpose I was looking for. By the way, the scoot looks phenomenal now, great job!
Just be aware they'll move your pegs out some. If you scrape your pegs now, you'll scrape them even quiker with the stirrups.
Don't want to sound negative here. I like 'em. Had 'em on my old Wide-Glide. Took 'em off when I traded the bike in. Now they live on Ironhorselady's Sporty.
I have them..I love them..they are the Kuryakyn pegs with the heel rests...Had one break off due to bike tipping over and missed it, but could order just one...Love them ..they are comfy..I have Kuryakyn foreward controls too...Love their stuff!!!!
I have the pilot pegs. They ride better almost flat (level with the bike) to me. At an angle it seems like your feet try to slide off. Btw I have a nice set for sale (75 bux cost 120 new).... I bought a set for the passenger rails, they looked to busy and I didnt like um on the rear, put a set on without the stirrups.
