I suppose the teo heel shifter will take some getting to? I spoke with a rider who actually lopped of the heel of the shift lever, after having issues with his muscle memory.

I trashed my ankle and could not upshift. That left me with 2 choices stop riding or alternate shifting methods.
A very long time ago now when the Honda nifty fifty (cub) was the go to for many even though it had a toe and heel shifter it was very common to lift ones foot and toe the heel down.
