I have looked at the minis and regular size offerings. The pics I've seen don't look desirable (to me). Beyond the "fashion" some I've read find the function to be a plus.
I have severe neuropathy in my hands and feet. At times when coming to a stop my foot will momentarily get hung up on the peg. I would think a floorboard would be an even more difficult thing to clear. Just curious what others have found to be the outcome.
What i meant is that i just dont think an XL looks right with anything but pegs.
Just my opinion of course- but if you have a medical condition- and its your only option- then by all means give them a try.
Maybe a shorter peg that doesnt stick out as much might be an option for you.... or a fully metal peg that doesnt have any rubber on them.
Only you would know what works for you and your condition- do some searching around- try to buy used to save coin if it doesnt work out for you.
I'm running the Kuryakyn Premium Mini floorboards on my bike. Way more comfortable than the stock pegs & my feet don't hurt now after all day (dawn till after dark) on the bike. They are adjustable for angle & position. (3 holes with splines) In this photo they are in the middle position. Since then I moved them back with the splined adapter in the forward hole which gives me more room to move around on them. BTW I have no problem putting my foot down with these. Not any wider than pegs from the bike. Just wider front to back. All these have done is give me more support on my foot instead of putting all the weight on one spot. It also allows me to move my foot & legs around a bit which helps me from being in one position too long.
Here they are from a different angle & with the mustache engine bar I changed to when I added the fairing. In this photo the boards are all the way back.

Really like the way they look! I appreciate your feedback!
I've run the HD and joker machine mini floorboards on my bike with forward controls. I liked them both, but prefered the HD version as they had rubber pads. They were very comfy and looked great.

That looks like a nice set up. The boards don't look out of place like some larger ones do on a Sportster. Also don't look like they would drag on the ground easily like some others.
