Default No Rocket

I just got back from the Harley dealership, after ordering a set of LeatherPros bags and trunk, a tachometer, auxiliary running light kit, Screamin' Eagle Stage I Air Cleaner and performance slip-ons, and an EFI remap.

Obviously, I've decided to keep the Sporty, and forget about that Triumph Rocket III.

$150 for the EFI download is kind of a rip-off, though.

Still, in about three weeks, when all the parts are in, I'll have my Harley Tax paid in full.

All BS aside, Glad to hear you thought it out and didn't just jump in with both eyes closed.

I'd say get a fuel manager instead of the download. See, once you get the download, you're basically stuck with it. It becomes the new "stock" for the bike unless you get it downloaded back to the original stock. If you get a fuel manager like Fuel Pak you can just unplug it and the bike is back to stock. I guess that's what I'd do.

As far as no Rocket III. Ah, that's ok. I'm one of the "few" who also like the looks of the Rocket III. Really, though, the 7.5 inch back wheel would make the bike pretty hard to turn. That thing is basically only good for one thing, and that's going straight. (With ~140 ft-lb and ~130hp what would you expect? LOL)
