I really like the look of solo seats on Sporsters, and I'm considering buying one. The problem is, I'm havinga hard time finding one that's not hideous or that doesn't move me forward any. So, if you've got a nice-looking solo seat that's reasonably comfortable and isn't a "booster" seat, please post pictures or links or whatever. Thanks. (Hopefully this will go over better than my "Performance Parts" thread LOL)
Killah_Steg, I love the looks of that seat, but the Brawler in the HD catalog looks nothing like that now. The current catalog makes it look like it pushes the rider forward some. Yours doesn't look like that at all...what year is it?
thundergod, unless I see a picture I have no idea what the seat looks like since I can never find solo Mustang seats even on their website (have a hard time navigating it lol).
I have the Le Pera Barebones solo. It looks great, but is not very forgiving on the backside. Not so bad once youbreak it in.T hey dont call it "Barebones" for nothing.
I also have the bare bones. I love it.The butt does get a littlesore after around 80 miles or so, but nothing worse than stock really, and I enjoy taking breaks while riding anyway. Perfect seat for me.
rob i and redsquid, on the LePera Barebones, does it move you forward or let your legs reach the ground any better than the stock?? and where did you find it for $159.? I have the 1200 low, '07. looking for a solo to bring my feet lower to the ground.
