Hi Ya'll!!! I'm new here and thought I'd stop in and say hi to all my sporty brothers and sisters!!! I just bought mine a month ago and just love this beauty to death. It's a 2008 883 low vivid black ( fastest color) lol. I have never owned a bike before but knew my first would be a harley, At 41 I say its about d**m time too! I took a riding course offered by riders edge b4 buying one that way I would be prepared out on the road. But it did not prepare me for the guy who backed into it while being parked, duh, Was only 18 hours old too! Made me sick and pi$$ed off at the same time, ya know. At least my insurance company came through and I had my check three days later, And my first upgrades the next day!!! I have already opted for the rush slip-ons with 2 1/4 baffles, forward controls, with skull foot pegs, my custom mirrors and fender will be a while in getting though... my best upgrade will have to be my service manual that was finally available to me today, stealer ain't touching this one. I've never worked on a bike before but, being an auto mechanic most of my life I feel I should have no too much of a problem figuring things out. I've signed up on that other forum but after browsing on here for the past week, quickly realized I had chose the wrong place!!! I believe i'm at the right one now!!! I will try and get some pics up tommorow incase someone might want to see them ( dont know who) lol. well...good to be here and hope to c'ya all around.
