If I'm traveling long distance I stop around 150 miles, if just cruising around, when ever the urge hits me. When the wife used to go, every 15 minutes. That was then.....
Whenever my mom starts pounding on my dads helmet demanding for him to pull over. Thank GOD her bladder is weak... my Sporty isn't as comfy as their Ultra Classic!
When I am riding with my dad we only stop for gas. He is the type that has to see his bike at all times so no food no fun. [:'(]
When I am out with out him I stop when I need gas and a stretch or a snack.
I can do a full tank on my 1200C. But, I have a Sundowner seat, which I find very comfortable. Sometimes, though, a stop after an hour or so is also a good break, just to stretch out the shoulders. I guess it really just depends on how I am feeling on a particular day.
I stop about every 90 min or so . . about 75-100 miles. Although there are days when I just keep going until I need gas . .
I try to do this also.....then it depends on the day also and what Im out to see or how many miles I need to cover that day.Coming home from Myrtle Beach Bike week I filled up in Rockingham and came on home non stop 180 miles.....I was ready to get off when I got home lol
