I dig the story, and I won't lie, I would have done the same thing. Especially if there is not much traffic. You gotta be a kid sometime, the spirit of youth is what keeps us healthy.
Yes! It's just fun to run 'em sometimes.... Especially when your opponent clearly thinks he is better/faster...And when they nearly run you off the road. I still feel like a kid every time I get on the Sportster.... Images of Big Wheels and home-made mini bikes... I could kick some serious azz on a big wheel too.... Pedals flyin and hard plastic tires spinnin!!!... good stuff

Murphey and his stupid laws have not been kind to me during my life. Cranking open the throttle and doing something that I know better than to do, would typically not bode well for me. Defending myself is one thing, going fast to proove a point is another.

When I've been tailgaited, it's been because the other driver either didn't realize he was putting me at risk or he just didn't care. My first reaction is to give some body language for the driver to back off. If I'm a at stop it is usually a death stare. I look pretty menacing, so it usually works. If it doesn't work, I assume it is because the driver doesn't care. In that case I will take a quick detour to eliminate the risk.
