I got the C&C Seat, and it is very comfy! Also, they were able to stitch in flames to the seat, using blue thread so it matches the bike... awesome!
Stock seat suits me fine, even after 2K+ miles and a few six-hour days. But I also ride (horses) a fair amount and enjoy road bikes and mountain bikes. I guess my butt's broken-in.
I just don't care for the look of the stock seat; I'd prefer a solo. The Mustang looks nice.
I have a mustang and love it,but the sundowner is a great seat for the money,I checked at zanottis and you can get a brand new sundowner for around $215 shipped.Ebay and the for sale board here has some great deals as well.
I just installed a sundowner seat, I will report back tomorrow. The dealer said if it doesnt fit me, I can bring it back. It feels good sitting in my garage. I am going on the road now. After looking at all these seats, I think I will probably get a solo seat as well. Those Mustangs look cool.
I just did about 25 miles on my new Sundowner seat. "Crappy weather today"
I could tell within the first mile that this seat is perfect for me. There is NO tailbone pressure, and I do not slide forward or backwards. It cradels me like a newborn baby.
I did not have too many problems with the stock seat. Just did not like it style wise. The Sundowner may be comfortable but makes the bike too tall for me and I think just look too big for the bike. I put on the HD Brawler Solo seat. It looks great and gives back support, and it's made of leather. I was suprised the stock seat on the C is vinyl. What are you getting for the extra $$$$ except chrome.
