I did not have too many problems with the stock seat. Just did not like it style wise. The Sundowner may be comfortable but makes the bike too tall for me and I think just look too big for the bike. I put on the HD Brawler Solo seat. It looks great and gives back support, and it's made of leather. I was suprised the stock seat on the C is vinyl. What are you getting for the extra $$$$ except chrome.
Ditto! I have a 1200C and was surprised to find vinyl. Sure, it may be more durable in the elements, but.....come on.
How do you like the Brawler seat? I'm thinking of that, or a Mustand non-wide, or a Lepera Barebones
I have the Sundowner and like it, I thought it would be a little softer than it is, feels better than the stock seat, I sit a little lower which I like. I asked the H/D dealer if I could install it and get the feel for it when I bought it and he said no problem.
I have a Mustang solo seat..vintage with fringe...love the look and it fits me and my tail bone doesn't hurt like a stock one did...also had a Corbin, which was good too, but to me seemed hard....
