I heard people use warm water and dish detergent to wash, rinse it with cold water.

From the mouths of the service guys at HD..."use windex on the denim". Spray with windex, wipe with a soft cloth.

I use Mr. Clean Muti Surface spray cleaner for touch ups and the Mr. Clean Autowash for the heavy scrubbing (which rearly happens).

yes should only use clearcoat safe wash soap it still has a clear its just flat, dish soap strips the surface just cause its flat doesnt mean it need harsh chemicals

i dont know about windex, but dish soap isnt harsh..i had a car painted about 10 years ago and im guessing it was some kind of enamel one stage paint and the body shop told me not to wax it for a month and if i wanted to wash it to use dish soap(pamalive) for the first month as well..windex too me sounds a bit rough i think it has amonia in it..
