what if any is most bore increase on xl1200
You can go 883 to1200 conversion. But what is the most has anyone gone up to if any. over 1200cc What is the most hp can be had out of a Evolution engine.

The recommendations I've had was to not go over a 3 13/16" bore for iron lined aluminum heads. This would give you 88 CI.
A 3 7/8" bore would give you 90 CI, but I believe most that are doing this are using cast iron cylinders for added strength.

Boring stock cylinders: 1212cc (actually I think you might be able to go more than 1212, but I don't know how much)
New cylinders: 1250cc
Boring stock cases: 88 CI (actually it's 87 CI, but called a 88 CI kit)

As far as i know and have always gone by, is that stock cylinders on an Evo 1200should not be bored more than .030 over stock
