I have an '03 883R and just had the front brakes replaced. Today, I found oil or some kind of fluid??? under the on/off switch and the right turn signal.I don't think there is and fluid there. Checked the master cylinder and it seems fine. Any suggestions??
the fluid has probably been topped off and when they pushed the pistons back in so the new thicker brakes would fit over the rotor it forced brake fluid out of the master cylinder
If the wheel is turned to the right when thefront master cylinder is compressed brake fluid will leak out onto the switch housing. This is usually then followed by some interesting language from the person doing the brake job. [:@]
