Anyone remove the tank logo on the 2005 xl1200c ?
I want to try out somedecals from purpleharley.com but I am afraid to find out what is under the logo.
Decals look good but not on the tank
already did that and man did it look chessey
Just for thought look into trying the harley stick on gas cap medallion or timing cover

And thats what I did not want to hear[:@]
Cheezy? That sucks. I already have a skull gas cap to go with my 20 other skulls. I just came back from the dealer where there was a few bikes customed out by purpleharley.com and they looked great. The decals looked like a custom paint job. Check out the website. They are local here in my town. If anything, I still want them off because a solid black tank would look better to me as well.
send them to me when you take them off, I'll give the address and pay shipping, obviously you don't want them =]
just heat it, cut thru with a knife or floss, and use goo-gone or goof-off and its done, as far as my experience goes with that stuff it doesnt hurt the paintjob.
