At least I've always considered it the dirty side... You know the kick-stand side of the bike.. The side that alway takes the back seat of the bus when you first look at a Harley.. any Harley.
It's the side that gets the least attention, the plain Jane ....
Besides the cow bell horn on the engine 1200 and up and the shift rods on the big twins... TheEngine gets little attention in apperance! The Sportie 883 suffers evenmore with the gray jugs and only an enrichment **** to look at... So what is everyone doing to get the "dirty side" of theHarley lookin as good as the...... you know the sweet side, the side with all theattention, chrome, pipes, breather ?? Just a thought and my opnion... BTW if the kickstand was on the other side of the bike, would Harley move all the chrome goodies to the left side ya spose!

True, the Sportsters (even the "C" models) are lacking on the 'wrong side' when it comes to chrome, but some of the big twins, such as the Deuce and FatBoy have a fair splashing right from the factory.
Ever notice how many pictures are taken on the right side compared to the left side..! Guess I'll have to pickup where Harley left off........ Probably start with a horn kit.

Heck, i agree with you joseph ! I have always liked the uncluttered no nonsense look of just the vee twin motor sitting there mounted to to frame. I never cared for or liked a bunch of chrome all over the place, although when done sparingly it looks fine.I guess i am an aftermarket parts vendors worst nightmare ! hee hee.
