My Honda ACE came with tools. They sucked, okay they did work but were cheap and did not help replace anything that broke since everything was special order from a stealership.
I just started carrying a tool kit with my sporty. Just about every took can be purchased at Sears. The only thing that has broken and kept me on the side of the road has been a broken belt. Nothing tools would help with unless you carried a jack as well to get the rear wheel off. If I need room in a saddlebag for more gear on a long trip the tool kit will be one of the first items to be left behind.
All I carry in my fork bag is a cell phone, registration/insurance cards, credit card/cash, condoms, and an extra pack of smokes. Typically, if your scoot breaks, you will not have the parts on hand to fix it anyway....so why carry tools!
