They get sand andgrit under them and scratch the paint, plus they are fugleys

My bike had one on it when I got it... I just didn't get used to it, so i took it off. It didn't seem to match any of the lines of the bike, or the paint scheme I had... looked 'out of place' to me.

You can see it in my 'before' and 'after' pics.. to each his own i guess.
