wanna say that thats one sweet lookin sporty. just wonderin how much ya paid for it? got my eye on a 2005 1200R with orange paint. dealer is askin 9700 and i just laughed. guess ill rebuild my old ironhead nice as hell for that much!
Nah, don't feel bad, ironhead. Tell you what you do: get a 8x10 photo of the bike you'd r-e-a-l-l-y like to have. Pin it up in an obvious place on the wall where you can see it at least once a day. You need not do anything else, and one day soon it will arrive in your driveway. Honest. It works. Try it and you'll see.
I've done that with cars, boats, motorcycles, and airplanes. Worked every time.... well, almost. The Playboy pinups never seemed to have the right magic.

It is a 06 and i got it in august and i walked out the door at $9,6?? on it i am not exactlly sure what it was before tax and tittle and all that stuff because my dad bought it for me i just seen the price on a sheet of paper he gave me that came with it but they are great bikes and i don't think there is any difference in a 05 to my 06 except for the engine color good luck on the bike and thanks for the kind words from everyone else.
thanks for the info. i also like your quote about jars. gotta good story bout a mason jar.
back home in north carolina where my old buddies live, there was a spring down in the woods that a couple of us only knew about, and my job doesnt let me get across country where i can see them often. when i was back there bout a year or two ago, i cleaned out the old spring, made it a nice place to sit on side of the hill, and hung an old mason jar up in a tree beside that old spring just in case a hunter or hiker stumbled across that special place. also carved my name and date i was there in an old birch tree, below the old one that me and my buddies carved in it bout 15 years ago.
bout a month ago i got an email from one of my buddies who was huntin down there and came across the wonderfull spring that was cleaned out, and a mason jar to drink from. my friend then thanked me for the nice job i done cleanin out the spring. he told me he took his son down there and tells him stories of our old rompin grounds and the things we used to do. and he said that he had never came across such a wonderfull place to stop and have a drink, and that the mason jar was in good shape, and the water was pure and sweet. i agree, real men drink from jars.
Thats a very unique looking sportster. I like it. I'm certainly no authority on Harleys but I never seen one that is black like yours instead of chrome. Kinda nice to be set apart from the crowd sometimes.
