"Not meaning to hijack the thread, but I noticed the engine guards. Are those the stock Harley guards? Do they interfere with the forward controls at all? I have been thinking about them, but haven't been sure about the look, and the way they might work."

I have the HD engine guard mounted and no conflict with the forward controls. With the placement of the hiway pegs, it's a nice toe rest on a cruise... I think it looks good too...
$12.00 tractor lights and two $3.00Ford exhaust studs. The exhaust studs are 3/8 in on one end and 5/16 on the other and will replace the clamping bold on the lower triple tree. You will have to trim a little off each end of the stud but no big deal. I just Parkerized the stud afterwards to rust proof. With running light installation kit, lights and hardware less than $50.00 in the whole deal.
