Default 10" Shocks

Anyone know if these will fit on a Nightster and if they're worth a damn?

If you're around three apples tall I say go for it, otherwise don't bother.

What do you think about thhe ride currently? If you think it's harsh now you are in for a real treat with the 10" shocks. I'm 5.6 and went the other direction on my N, up to 12" shocks and it was heaven.

It's the lowest you can go without going rigid, and you can maintain SOME shock absorption. I'm only three apples tall and decided to go with the 11" Progressive 412s. If you want the slammed look and want to "feel the road" underneath you, then by all means get them....they are not bad shocks, but please remember...there ain't a whole lot of damping ability there to soften the bumps. It'll also lower the frame so you'll have to watch cornering and speed bumps. 11" seems to be about the lowest one can go and still maintain some semblance of ride quality. Just my uneducated opinion...

Pretty much somes it up rather well. I like mine, and don't mind the "Feel of the Road".

I had a set of 10" shocks they road real bad, but they looked so cool.
They have so little travel they are only a medium sized bump awayfrom riding just like a hard tail.

Well I put 11" Progressive 412's on my '08 1200 Low and it would bottom out on manhole covers and expansion strips on the highway! I weigh 180 and had the shocks jacked up all the way to position #5. I seriously do not recommend going down. I would go up to 12" like others have stated.
