was at the dealers today and i asked the question as im getting v&h straitshot pipes , hypercharger , t slide & rejet plus 412 rears and variable rate
springs in forks,when i purchase the a 1200c ,
thay told me no it wont void the warranty with them as thay are fitting it all at first service.
but if i was doing motor mods etc yes it would so i would ask the dealer as there would be good and bad ones.
also my dealer is fitting all but the front springs free of charge at the first service as that is a decent size job.
so it will only cost me for the service and labour to do the forks so im happy with that
and i know im covered
If I do a stage 1 on my 05 1200 will it void my warranty?
NO, it will not void the warrantee. If you do a mod an IT causes a system or part of your engine/bike to need warrantee work, THEN they will have to proove that the work you did caused the damage to not be elligable for warrantee work. If you were to run lean and burn a valve or piston, THEN you voided the warrantee by what you did on that part only. If you add the stage 1 to your bike, you need to richen up the mixture whether it be carbed or FI.(in your case carbed)
