I’ve been riding for 40 years. Kawasaki’s mostly, a couple of Hondas way back, 30K miles on a ’94 Sporty 883, lately 53K on a ZRX1100.
A couple of weeks ago I added a 1999 1200S with 10K on the clock
But I don’t see a 1200S listed on the marquee. Are there no other S’s out there?
If so, are there any idiosyncrasies peculiar to that model and how common is the bike? I know it has been asked before, but are production numbers available anywhere?
Looks like a great site to cyber-ride. Kudos to the management.
Welcome, I think the closest model to the S now would be the R, more of a sport version.
Two things, adjust your font size sous old guys can read it and fill out where your "from" on your prifile so we all know.
Hey thanks, guys. I needed my chops busted. But of course, size does matter. But it isn't the size, is it. It's the font. Cut and pasted from a Word doc. I’ll try to be more careful. [sm=smiley1.gif]
For those browser challenged riders out there, go to "view>text size>largest".
And.. now you also know where I "live" (The Suncoast). Where I'm "from" is Ann Arbor, MI.
Today is the first day that I had to drive my car ('87 IROC) in a very long time. By tonight the roads will be dry again, it will be about 65 degrees, and I will feel bad for many of you.
Thanks for the replies. Keep the rubber side down!
