hi guys and gals just saying hello and to say ive been watching this site since i got myself a sportster last june up to then id been riding a kawasaki ninja 900.id never really thought about a harley till a friend who had always had sports bikes and like me is no spring chicken came to see me on his new 1200 sporster said he'd had enough of riding fast all the time which you seem to want to do with jap screamers,he let me have a ride and within a week id sold my kwackers and got a 2003 1200 sporster sport best thing i ever done,just love taking it out cruising dont need to go speeding everywhere but if you need it its got plenty of go so anyone thinking of buying a sportster go for it

Welcome Alan: Where in the UK are you located? Looks like a very nice Roadster. You gas cap is the "aircraft" style and is available as an aftermarket item in the US. I really like your 2 into 1 exhaust and the upgraded rear shocks. Were the front fork springs upgraded also?
What brand and tread pattern of tires do you run for the wet roads?

I was just in London last week and stopped by Warr's HD in Chelsea/Fulham. I was SHOCKED to see how expensive the bikes were! They were basically charging the same amount for the bikes as in the US, but it was pounds instead of dollars. At the current exchange rates that's almost double! Couldn't believe it.
Makes a Harley over there very expensive! Take care of that ride! It looks great.
