Default Passenger Backrest Bracket
A friend has an '08 anniversary 1200 sportster. He's trying to put on backrest supports. The screws that the bracket go onto are coming through from the inside of the wheel well. He can't pushtwo of the screws through becausethey interfere with the tire. Does he have to remove the tire? Can he disconnect the shocks and lift the frame up to clear the wheel? Any other ideas? Thanks.

Undo the shockie mounts, lift the frame and you should have enough room
